I’m mad at my friends. What should I do?

So, today is my 21st birthday. I told my friends yesterday that I wanted to play board games with them after dinner, and they said they had a gift and that they were excited. Now, one of my friends just started a new job, and has to wake up SUPER early every morning, and he has to work tomorrow. Now, I wasn’t planning on staying and playing very long. An hour, tops. Either way, I’ve been looking forward to it all day. But after dinner, around seven, I said I’d be on my way soon, and they respond saying “we’ll have to do it next week because it’s getting late and we’re tired.” I consider myself a pretty reasonable person. I would’ve understood if they had told me this from the beginning so we could’ve made other arrangements, but they waited until the last minute. So now I’m pissed. They knew all day that he had been getting up early to work. It wasn’t a secret he was gonna he tired. And they could’ve told me earlier and we could’ve done it in the afternoon. But they told me last minute, and now I don’t get to celebrate my birthday with my friends. What should I do?

What board games did you wan to play?
Well, they’re a couple. So they both claimed they were too tired. I just wanted to play uno or something.@JoyfulSilence

@marilynmichelle Oh, I see. Sorry about that. I hope you all can get together and have some fun!

I remember playing Uno as a kid. It was fun!
