Ever had a friendship of many years (10+) come to an end, & then look back and realize you aren't sure how the hell you were friends to begin with?

It has been painful. It's my best friends husband. Turns out he's a narcissist....who knew? 🤷‍♀️
Now it's just bloody annoying. 🙁

@SW-User Same here, friend of 10+ years...not sure how I didn't see the signs or red flags in that time period. Oh well, I know I am happier and better off w/o her now. As you (and hubby) will be 🤗

You don't see the flags because you give them the benefit of the doubt because you're good friends. Then when the shit finally comes down they show their true colours and you go "WTF"?! 😫😮

@SW-User EXACTLY.....I was dumbfounded and honestly kinda embarrassed at how I had not been able to see the real person who was my 'so called' best friend.

And the amount of times you think to yourself "I wish I had have done this or said that" when things just didn't seem right.....but you let it go because you don't want to stir the waters.
