When you have wronged someone, what is your preferred method of making amends?

Well it depends, if it is that you said some words that might’ve hurt him/her, I go talk to him friendly and try to joke, cuz situations and feelings can be "overwritten", being nice can make the person forget that you been an asshole haha
but there are worse things you might do to people, and to make up for it you need more effort than just trying to have a nice chat
