How long have you've been a writer?

@TheOrlandoGray: I've been writing stories since I was 6. But I didn't make a hobby of it til I was 13. I've written many. From fantasy to child abuse etc. I'm looking to getting published, I've actually already sent work in they just need touch ups apparently. My longest novel has taken almost 6 years to do.

I had one, but took it down as a lot of people stole my artwork ad some story ideas. I will again eventually but not with stories I am attached with.

@EjoyH97: That's the world we live in. You should make it so people can read your stories, but not copy and paste it so it'll happen less.

@EjoyH97: Me either. I know WattPad does that. I tried highlighting my story to paste somewhere else, but couldn't. I've heard this tip that you can also set google alerts using keywords and phrases from your book so you will notificed if someone tries stealing your story.

@EjoyH97: I think I read it in a book by Mark Coker. I think it was in his The Secrets to Ebook Publishing Success book. It's free on Smashwords if you want to check it out.
