If I changed my age would more cool people message me?

I noticed that the site doesn't let me message a lot of people. And I can't see a lot of profiles. If I changed my age would people want to chat with me even if I'm younger?

You would get a ton of messages from perverts if you changed your age, and there's no guarantee you would meet any "cooler" people.
