Is this over sharing?

If you tell a friend you went to the doctors because you experienced bleeding from the bottom? They know you have a bowel disease.
What would you think if a friend told you this?

I've got the "I'm bleeding" email from an online friend ( we did end up meeting in person once after that) needing advice. I was a bit surprised she was that comfortable discussing this and wondered why she picked me. But then she had told me about her health problems before and I was able to help her sort it out so it's all good.
