Have you made an online friend?

Anybody successfully make an online friend they talk to regularly? I'm so socially awkward I struggle both in person and online so I was wondering, if you managed to do so, how did you do it?

My best friend lives in another country & we met on EP several years ago. She’s come here twice & I’ve been there once. We message nearly every day. FaceTime is free too. 😁
