For what reasons have you unfriended on Facebook?

Offence? Cleaning out inactive friendships? Your jealous partner insisted on it? How about when you are unfriended? How do you take it?

Tbh, I don't take it that well. I've had several unfriend me and while we weren't terribly close, I can't help but take it as an unpleasant and permanent dissolution of whatever friendship we did have (and I have hardly anyone on my list I've not met in person). The most recent occurrence was prompted by a comment to her post that was a URL to a Snopes article. It didn't come w/any snide remarks of "fake news!" (although that is the implication) or any words at all. Just the URL. In other cases, I have no idea what I did.
Come to think of it, that last one could have been bipolar. In fact, I can account for another unfriend who is bipolar. I doubt all unfriend cases can be explained as mental illness.
Yes, I'm aware that some people delete their accounts or clean out their friends list.
The only reason I would unfriend someone is if he seriously offended me or our relationship was so tenuous that the unfriending would have little meaning anyway. Well, so far I've never done that. So what reasons have you had for unfriending on Facebook?

i have also refused friend requests too btw. one b$tch from work requested me NOPE. one of my inlaws who my hubby has a hard time with requested me NOPE. if i don’t trust them, i don’t accept their request
@NiftyWhite refusal goes down much better with me
