How do you make friendships work?

When there is huge time zones in the way?

Tricky - but you have to accept the person will not always instantly be there.

No different than long distance relationships before the internet or cheap affordable phone systems.

People used to write love letters to each other - revive that even if via electronic means - there's a certain romanticism to that
