How do you work on making friends?

I've always been a shy,and quiet girl. As well as antisocial, and just can't seem to make decent friends.
Any advice, or tips?

real life trumps online. just be yourself, find people who are like minded, go out to places.

@badapple I completely agree real life over online. Unfortunately, my town is small, and most are into partying, and stuff like that. Which is completely fine, but in not into, so its hard to make friends here.
