Can men and women just be friends. Nothing more?

I would say no.
Case: we were friends and fell in love.... he now has a gf & wants to be friends.... not going to work. He claims he wants to be with me... why would he do this?? He's dumb
Case: my exhusband was "best friends" with 'her' ... they had an affair behind my back and he got her pregnant.....
Point: not at all. Being an acquaintance is more reliable than being "friends"...
