Why is it that some people actually go out of their way to be losers?

they wallow in negativity and being a victim. They are looking for sympathy.

@erikman48 Some people's lives are just .... bad. Smh. We can never walk in their shoes. So we should, at least, try to see their path.
@Novaturient81 that's exactly why I posted this question. I want to understand it. The thing that really bothers me is not ones who just have it bad but more of the ones who choose to have it bad. I am an employer and I really try to help people out that I feel sorry for. But it usually bites me in the @$$. I try to trust that people are being truthful but as we all know. Thats not always true.
@Novaturient81 its why I used the term "go out of their way" yes many people don't comprehend what they are actually reading no matter how clear I try to speak.

I have experienced this in my time as an employer. I believe one has to have a will to, at least go half way to meeting the people who offer support.

many people have tunnel vision and their interpretation is what the want to believe instead of looking at the wider picture.
@erikman48 that does make a lot of sense. And many other comments here do too especially the pity seekers. Remember I'm only saying this about people who "go out of their way" and not people who really do have it bad without a choice. I'm trying to figure out how to identify the difference.
