Do you talk to your SW friends the same way you talk to people in real life?

I try my best to. But surprisingly, I'm starting to realize that trying to be a decent friend online is a lot harder than I expected. It's a challenge to get your point across and be understood for what you meant. That, and a huge timezone gap. But I still think it's worth it. It's an interesting experience to say the least. :)

@Casheyane There is no reason why anyone shouldn't have real-life friends on SW. It helps to create a friendly atmosphere if several people who get on well in real life can be on a website together, doesn't it? It also helps if we can outnumber the trolls. Lol :)

I think it can be fun to meet with decent SW people in real life. Though the difference in locations is a sure challenge haha. Still, I have to say, I haven't really made close friends in the site. But I'm trying to.

@Casheyane Not all trolls are necessarily pervs. I meant people who deliberately post offensive material just to get us riled up, that sort of thing. It's not all to do with sex. I blocked a troll yesterday because he called me a liar, knowing full well that being called a liar is one of my absolute pet hates. People like that should be banned from websites to protect the feelings of normal types like me. That was why I asked some of my friends to join here - so that we can all band together against cold-hearted thugs like that.

@Casheyane That one won't be seeing any more of me, I wasted no time in blocking him. I've passed his name on to my friends so they will report him if they see him causing any more trouble.

@Casheyane It's useful in times of troll trouble, but a lot of people on this site are weirdos who abuse and misuse the block function because they think they are too mighty to accept the truth when someone shoves it in their face the way I love to hammer it home. How mischievous can they get? Lol :)
