No. It is rude directly. But yes we are supposed to love God more than anyone including ourselves.

Easy solution, don't date someone who believes in religious garbage. Done and done.

I make a point of steering clear of religious fanatics. Imagine someone who can believe in something that has absolutely no proof and then imagine what other things that could fall into believing. Scary.
