Yes. He's been with the same moron of a guy on and off for 4 years now. I've learned to tune it out when he tells me about something he's done because I know he won't listen to me when I tell him to leave.

@SW-User It's not easy to break things off for good, especially in a co-dependent relationship or for someone with low self esteem/worth.

@SW-User Choosing not to do what you see as the right choice isn't the same as ignoring your opinion. Do you mean he actually ignores your opinion or that he does take into consideration what you say, but ends up not breaking up with him or going back?
