WHY are so many worried about me not 'friending back?'

I do not write this for your pity. A friend is a person that I can call and chat with. Someone I cry with. Someone that can set me straight when I have lost my path. I do object when you friend request me and I fail to respond in KIND. I do not know you! For myself a friend is a hug, a pat on the back for trying. Trying to be understanding when I'm scared and alone. I get scared too. Just don't FREAK out if I don't friend back! THAT is simply being CHIDISH.
Last I checked we do not receive 'points' in here for our 'Friend' collection.

on Face Book I may not accept your friend request based on your friends and comments they make or who they are friends with .
I have family members I have not accepted their request .
Here its not that way ,
but if I accept you ,I also allow you access to my family ,and friends I have hand picked
My friends I can call and ask for help at 3am ,broke down half way across the state ,and I know they are coming ,
Friends on the other side of the world I can ask for prayer and I know they will pray ,for me and my other friends and family too ,I know I can count on them .
So I get it not about quantity ,just numbers ,
its about quality ,those you know will be there when you need a shoulder to cry on
My Friends and family know 24 /7 ,if you need me ,,I will do my best to be there
