how long do typical friendships last?

@Chernobylplayground: my online have been really short lived. people just get busy or they just talk to so many people that they ghost you.

idk mine tend to head south. catching people lying or just start becoming rude eventually.

@theowl: my experience is that a few were way too needy and had issues that were beyond my help , they needed professional help ..

....okay i feel like that would happen to me...i tend to make other ppls problems my own because i like to...save the day lol @Chernobylplayground:

@SailorMarz: I used to do this too ... what happens is you become consumed by their problems and then they become too dependent on you ... it's not good ... but I understand in wanting to help others , just be careful about it and try not to get too sucked in to it ...

@Chernobylplayground: i don't really think im that good of a friend tho because i'll probably get tired of it & then leave without a word. I like to help but i don't see myself getting consumed into it that way. I can barely even text my friends back anyhow, but i just do a better job with friends that need some help or someone to tell them they care
