my friend expects an invite everytime in out with my bf

i wrote in the last post about how she was happy when he called her babe by accident. of course i don’t actually think that has anything to do with her wanting to be around us all the time. it’s been a running thing that when i go out with my boyfriends friend group without her, she will ask for an invite and get upset when i say it’s just me and his friends.

she made it awkward for herself though as the friend group consists of me, my boyfriend. his friend kieran his girlfriend leah, cameron and his girlfriend mia. and jacob who is just happily single. my friend has fired into every guy in this friend group. she slept with kieran before he was with leah a few years ago. kissed cameron at my brothers 21st bday party and was extremely obsessed with jacob recently.

jacob said “she’s a sweetheart but im not interested in her like that” so i told my friend this and she said to mia “he called me a sweetheart do you think that means he likes me?” as if he didn’t say the opposite in the same sentence like omg.

but anyway, my boyfriend wanted to go to the pub to watch the football game. my friend knew we were going and she asked for an invite i said “we are only going to watch the game, if i end up staying out longer i’ll let you know” but jacob invited me and my boyfriend and the rest of his friends back to his. it’s not my place to invite her to other peoples houses but she got upset and said “why don’t u invite me out anymore” (we were literally all out together the week before) but i didn’t even bring that up

i said to her “i haven’t even been out. the last time i was out you were in a rave in a different county” and she said “you have” referring to the time it was just me my boyfriend and jacob chilling in his house for a few hours. her response was “i don’t mean when you’re out with everyone, just wheb you’re out with your bf in general” and said she feels lonely even though she’s out with friends constantly. it’s weird asf.

i don’t expect anyone to read this i’m just ranting

She is jealous
She sounds more than a little male centered which can be dangerous... Also kinda delulu (lol) But I get it, She's young and doesn't have anyone. Is there some reason she has trouble meeting people or particularly guys ?

@DancingStarGoddess literally you don’t even know the half of it. she sleeps with them because she thinks she’s gonna get a relationship out of it. she will say “this guy is so nice he gives me so many compliments” and i tell her straight “haven’t u said this about the last 10 guys that fucked u over this year” a few months ago she was talking to this guy for a few days. said he was coming to her house. i said don’t sleep with him on the first day. she slept with him as soon as he got in the door because he bought her flowers and said “whu would he buy me flowers if he’s planning to use me” as if guys wouldn’t do way more than buy flowers for sex. it’s insane

@DancingStarGoddess idk whats going on in her head but she does seem very entitled thinking i owe her an invite every time i’m with my bf and his friends. i use to invite her out and wanted her around until she acted like this and the guilt tripping.she just isn’t a particular nice person in general. she calls other girls ugly for no reason and thinks she’s the most beautiful thing to walk the planet. (nothing wrong with having self confidence) but this goes beyond it
@Katiecunn12 Yeah, that's not cool of her to do and tbh it DOES sound like narc stuff 😔 You're not wrong, you're don't owe her an invitation and you're allowed to have space and enjoy other friends and your relationship to yourself. You don't owe her an explanation as to why either. A "No" is sufficient AND a complete sentence. If she's so wonderful then she should have no issues finding people to hang with as well. There is no rules saying you need to have ALL the same friends.

Lots of assumptions can be made here. Just be nice no matter which way this goes. Bad blood is not something you want to carry around.
she might not be jealous, she might just feel left out. like she is loosing her friend (you) to a different friend group

@CookieCrisp i was suppose to go out with her and our mutual friend hayley. she cancelled on me last min saying “i can’t come out with you and hayley anymore, i need to save money for a rave tomorrow” i said “i know hayley already told me, it’s okay i’m going out with my boyfriend and his friends now” all of a sudden she said “actually i can come out with you for a couple drinks”
@Katiecunn12 yes, but that might just be her not wanting to loose out, like its cool if she has something to do, but the second you do she is like oh no...
