I had to retire, doctors orders:

5 years ago my doctors told me to retire, so I simi retired. They said that wasn't good enough, so 2 years ago I fully retired. 6 months ago I was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver to add to my long list of health problems. Life's been good to me but retirement sucks. 🫢 😞

Maybe find a hobby or something…or volunteer…the world is full of need.

@Wiseacre I have plenty to do, it's just different. I do help once a month giving food to the needy. 🙂

I am sorry to hear this. I hope you are feeling better soon and can enjoy life in retirement. What would you actually like to do?

@Musicman I help weight train at the high school so the young athletes don't hurt themselfs and I help run drills with them. One of my nephews is the assistant principle there and I use to play sports there so I'm well known. My wife still works so I take care of the cleaning and cooking. I also take care of the lawn although I do have a young man that comes cut it twice a month. So I do stay busy but I guess I miss the taveling that came with my job. I don't know but it's just not the same. 🙂
