@TheArchivist i dunno that i can math that one out for you. i suppose if i had to choose, its likely better to go out holding onto than to let it go. plus it could be you get the lucky draw that wouldn't have been available without it.
and lastly since thats a bit of an older generation thing to say and im running headlong into being 'an older generation', its probably time for me to start advising people to follow the advice of older people.

This often happens to me too. Especially if they start their DM with anything along the lines of "I want to get to know you better." And won't elaborate.

@TheArchivist Absolutely! i even state it in my profile to be honest. it's kind of long, but it's down below. Dms can be hard but i reserve space for when people just really need someone. Everyone does sometimes. We're all human and because of that, sometimes we're just not ok.🤷🏾♀ I offer complete and utter discretion as well. I believe that whatever is told to me in a confidence is meant to stay as such.
