Just What The Doctor Ordered, Sweeties!
Oh what F-U-N!
Yesterday was a Bank Holiday in the UK, which is generally the day that us Brits do all-day drinking.
I've been in a bit of a funk, I must say, what with Dolly passing...the weather...just 'stuff', right? So, I didn't want to go out on this national holiday. A day off work.
But, I was persuaded! Met up with my girl, Britt, and we had a bite to eat - Italian - and a few drinks and laughs, before heading over to Roxy's bar...well, it's not called 'Roxy's', 'cos she doesn't own it....but she works there...and she was working last night.
A LGBTQ+ bar, where we always hang out. Between servings and stuff, Roxy did find some time to hang and...it was fun....we did laugh...there was some dancing...spot of flirting....lots of drinking.
Your gal here was slightly squiffy, not gonna lie, then we stayed for a few shots whilst Roxy and her peeps locked up and cleaned up.
Then, driven home....well, to Roxy's....coffee and a catch up...oh, and some snacks for me....then she ferried us both back to our homes.
Thanks Sweeties! That was a delish night! Just what I needed!
