I feel a little bad

My friend came again and we ate something together then she told me about her day how she met with older friends of ours and begun again somethings she's been going on and on about, how they all love me, how I should this and that.

And I told her just like any other time, how I love them too, she said they don't feel it, I said maybe they need to check their hearts. And again begun insisting and asking why I don't meet with them and why I don't just pass by and say hi.

After a few repetitions I said enough with it, stop doing this, creating this story as if I am the cold hearted and I have moved on and I find no reason why should I go back to meet with these people.

She was really pushy and implying weird little things, you know those that create gossip and false stories afterwards.

She was drunk. Yesterday I had fun joining her but today that I didn't drink, we weren't on the same page. All these people are drunks. I don't belong there. I just feel sad how the night ended.

She became kind of comparative and ironic, telling me how she hasn't been to a kung fu school and near tibet to know the things I know. She said how it must be different to live in this way that I live, to carry no guilt and to move forward.

a person can't abide with disagreeable people with alining intentions.. eh? sorry it turned out that way .. they can miss you if they want but they have to respect your goals and your lifestyle choices that are not in line with theirs .. especially if they wish to indulge in vices you have moved away from

@GoFish I told her many times, like 3 times how I am focused, I am working for things, I live like that in remote places, I am different, I told her, one cannot do it all, one has to choose. It was pushy , but I too felt bad for her, because I replied harshly after the 5th time or so that she was insisting with it.

@Boeing yeah she needs to let you be.. not attempt to strong arm you to her own wishes.. did she even come of her own wishes or did they like send her to you to rope you back into their clan?

@GoFish haha funny "to rope me back into their clan" - I can't know but am sure big part is hers - she sees things in a loving light.
But she doesn't see my experience of abuse. And I do not want to go back and bring such stories to narrate now. I am onto something. And I trust myself you know. If it was all that much love, I wouldn't be running away like I am.

The alcohol brought out the truth. Sorry it went that way for you. 🥺

@Degbeme the alcohol and the moon eclipse
People like that don't get it, never will.

@EldritchFox she does get a great deal I think...but then she is getting stuck at things.

maybe we all do.

But you are also right, if I stop being kind.

I just felt unkind to her, but I also had to clarify myself. ahhh oh why...

Oh, it does suck when stuff like this happens. Try not to get too down about it, people say that things work out over time and I think it’s likely true. True friendships can swing in and out, and maybe you drift apart a little, but maybe you drift back.
I’m sorry! I’m a bit rubbish with advice, but I hope it helps.

@Strongtea you are right, true things remain. thank you.

i too can let anyone or anything go i have no friends except on line ones, they talk shit or not like my ways,i say bye bye
Boeing · 36-40
@candycane it's just that I have changed so much and I feel truly disrespected like she's in her 70s, come on, give the kid a good advice and not tell her to go back to that darkness Idk. Nevermind.

There are issues for sure not being able to hold a friendship, but if it isn't a friendship that is loving you in freedom then what the heck to keep it for.
