Anyone care to give an opinion

I rent a room pay full rent every month and do household chores not mine just to help my friend and landlord out. Her 2 adult daughters live here they pay no rent and do no chores although they've been asked many times to help out. Now the boyfriend is here over a week and the other ones boyfriend wias here a month went into the service coming home and probly going to be here again. I was not told anyone else would live here. Why should I pay full rent and do the chores I live upstairs they live down stairs and don't use any of that area but the kitchen. Im constantly helping vacume dust and clean the kitchen and take out the garbage aftervwberyone.I am not required but if I don't nobody does it. Is it none of my business who flops here weeks on end and doesn't contribute or should I ask for rent reduction ?

because you are a renter and not her family or bf.. you don't have to do their chores if you don't want to don't think it entitles you to free rent .. if you like cleaning house clean someone else's house and use the pay toward your rent.. or you can tell her you are charging her a cleaning fee and deducting it from your rent to her .. that might force them to make an effort to do things themselves instead of leaving it to you

That's ridiculous. It sound like they find it easy to take advantage of you. You need to find a new place to rent. You'll have less chaos without all the rotating roomates who refuse to clean up after themselves. But people always get ticky when they find out they're about to lose the one they see as their "cash cow". Mums the word you're looking and be careful moving out.

the landlord should be informed, they own the property and approve who lives there....and doing so will make you the bad guy. be strong👍

Your friend is letting you down and treating you like a slave.

Sounds like they know you’ll do it if they don’t, and they’re all about taking advantage.
