A Picture Worth a Thousand Rhymes
by: Rob Paquin
Pretty as a picture
With softly glowing eyes
Lips so sweet I wish my lips could meet
Curled into a smile
Lovely lochs of hair cascading
With a few strands falling past your face
The knowing look inside your eye
Your radiance and grace
The way you seem so happy
Trapped forever in that frame
The thoughts that I imagine
Yet I still don’t know your name.
Yes, you’re as pretty as a picture
Beautiful in many ways
A shining soul. A friend of gold
That inspired these words I say.
