Update on a friend...Ghosted.
Well, I posted on here that My friend just started a cake business, and I congratulated her, told her I would support, and bought two of her cakes. Her bake sale was on Monday, but I asked her to set mine aside for Thursday and she said that was fine. She never showed up for me to get my cakes, and so I asked her to meet me on Friday instead because it was raining and I didn't want her driving in the rain just to give me cake.
Everyone else got their cakes. Just wanna throw that out there.
She never responded to my messages. I did check in. I did try to be reasonable and understanding, but the fact remains, I purchased something, and I should get what I paid for . That's just common sense in a business. If something happened, understandable, but there needs to be communication.
