@Tumbleweed Exactly. Never feel bad about doing this because it was definitely needed so she can get longer term care than just staying a few days in a hospital. She'll get fed and cleaned well and that's something that's very hard for family to do. She'll recover more quickly.
@Tumbleweed You haven't done one thing wrong. You've done everything right for your mom and she understands this, I'm sure. I'm sure she's proud that you're taking the best care of her. Sometimes this is what it takes and I know your mom knows this and that this is only temporary. She's wise enough to see this. Be proud that you made the right decision, because you absolutely did. Younger people may not understand this but one day they will. If I was your mom, I would have wanted the same. She'll have the best physical therapy and everything there. She's in the best of hands, God's hands and the nursing staff whom he will guide.
@Degbeme She's still very weak but they've got her BP under control now & she's being well taken care of & I feel confident leaving her there, even though she hates not being at home! They want her in a rehab facility for awhile because of that fracture & I think that's the best route right now.
