A friend of mine , sad news

I received a message this evening that a friend of mine , the same age as I am , 64, passed away today.
In the end of February he had a minor stroke from which he discovered that he had a growth in his brain. He had surgery and was starting treatment.
He passed away today. So sad.
It also hits you hard when people you have known for many years and are of a similar age start passing.
Suddenly you start thinking ... Hey this could have been me .
