I am going home Sunday/Monday

I have about a month gap in my schedule and I’m going to see my friends and my house, but I’m also thinking about my grandmother, my only family member. She lives in a small town to the west of Jerusalem in Israel. I haven’t seen her for a year almost.

I went to Israel just after my brother was killed at the front by the Russian army. I stayed there for three months, and I flew back and began this journey to explore Europe and work my way through the various countries. I speak with my friends every week and tell them about everything but I haven’t been back to see them.
