Don't know if you remember but couple of days back, I wrote about a couple of yearlong friends that are growing distant...
Specifically I wrote about a guy we had a video call conversation and when I brought it up how we're growing apart, he didn't hold me, he said, "we contact another when we need something from them"...
I had a very similar experience with another friend here, we met and had a nice long walk. But in the end he said something like "actually today it was a good meeting, perhaps the best we've ever had" and even though I know that sounds great, in the context of our relationship what it meant was that nothing went wrong, made him uncomfortable or overwhelmed him.
I am outgrowing old friends and I understand of how this is normal and Life and yet for a minute I am feeling the bitterness of loosing my friends. I have lost a great amount this last year that's past.
