Some I trust with my life, yet not with everything else.

And some I trust with certain aspects of my life.

A rare few I trust with everything.

There are people in this world that rarely spare a word but when needed most they will step in for me. They are friends.

There are others who clash with me ideologically, yet when they know there are more pressing matters, they put aside our differences to help. They too are friends in my eyes.

I will be there for them in return.

I don't use people as entertainment or distraction. Not even online. I form bonds with intention. I am not much of a dopamine junkie.

I have some acquaintances and a very small group of genuine friends that I truly love and treasure. We've been together ages now.

I have a mix of both, I know the ones I can truly rely on in a crisis.

I am alone
