Do you have a mansplainer in your entourage?

One of my friends is one, he knows all he has to explain everything to everyone that he has such stupid opinions like texting has ruined human relationships. But I tell him that people are just used to texting. It’s just a new way of communicating. A lot of people don’t want to talk on the phone any more.
But he tells me I’m wrong in so many ways he thinks he’s a visionary🙄

While I’m always willing to join a pile on when it comes to heaping shit on mansplainers, I tend to agree with him about this. I think the big concern is for kids growing up with this. At least I can still remember spending hours chatting to people on the home phone. Now I avoid most people’s calls.

@Notladylike what’s the problem? People are just used to texting now it’s fine.
@Ferise1 the problem is text based communication doesn’t activate as many areas of the brain. Brain development is impacted.

While texting is convenient ,talking is more personal ,what actually has ruined human relationships in a way is the social media imo

@Caleidoscope I’ve never spoken as much as with social media. I love it.

And I usually say to such people that you cannot be ‘Mr. Know -it-all.’
