If a woman friend zones you, it doesn't mean she's a scheming, manipulative sociopath...

As woman, there's nothing more disgusting than realizing a man only wants to talk to you if sex will eventually be involved. He never wanted to be your friend, and he'll trash every wonderful moment you shared just because it wasn't leading to romance. The only purpose of him opening up was for you to be his, and then he acts like you were dishonest and scheming.

Agree. Sometimes it gets taken as rejection and then it’s friendship over. An awkward spot.

@Acheron it's unfortunate. Humans could use more connection and we lose it because of our insecurities

@ScreamingFox It's true. I have enough humility to admit that I've been guilty of pushing people away. And it was all me, nothing to do with them.

@Acheron same here hun, sometimes we aren't ready or open to it and that's okay for men and women to feel. It doesn't make us bad people, actually it makes us honest and caring, knowing we aren't ready to involve others until we work on ourselves.

@ScreamingFox You're right. Just the lingering regrets of thinking it could have been handled differently. Just have to cope with it and move forward.

@Acheron yup, gotta ride the ups and downs
