The worst feeling for me is to find out that I have been used and lied to by someone I trusted, and someone I compromised any of my core values for. I feel bad for a short time if I get used, abused or lied to by someone else,but I feel very bad ,for a very long time, if I let myself down.😔

Used and abuse by someone you trust, who never considered that they were abusing you. And still don't consider what they did, as abuse decades later.
I can handle being lied to. Abuse is a whole different level.
Abuse can be both physical and mental at the same time. And they don't even have to touch you to be both physically and mentally abusive.
