What are your best SW hacks?

I log back in to see how my old SW friends are doing once or twice a year. Sometimes I connect and stick around for a bit. Other times I drift away more quickly. Do you have anything you do that helps you stay engaged and connected here? Maybe something about how you set up your feed? Or anything else? I would love whatever tips you might have.

I’m an old school EPer who just jumped back into the ring a few days ago. I’m still trying to get the lay of the land myself. I’ll be interested to see what those who’ve been here longer in recent years say.

@BamPow I feel like it was easier to engage on EP. I sure miss that site. It literally changed my life.

@ShadowSister The original EP (before the redesign) was more focused on the experiences, and it was easier to connect based on interests or find people going through similar experiences as yourself. Plus, there were just more people and activity on that site to engage with. I think the redesign of EP really destroyed most of that. It seems you can find some of that here, but you just have to dig for it.

I will add that the most interaction I’ve gotten on my posts are a couple I’ve made about food. People might disagree on a lot of subjects, but I think the consensus here is that food is awesome.

@ShadowSister I agree 100%.

@BamPow I think that's why I don't like it as much. On EP, I was writing long essays, probing my feelings, finding other people like me. And then I come to SW, and it's all short-form content, questions, and political enemies tearing into one another.
