Probably should redo that post because the formatting options have changed a bit. As well has Gboard itself changed.
I still frequently use some of those shortcuts unmodified.

Don't take much of the banter seriously
Do what helps you have a more pleasant time; if that means blocking a harasser, then do so.
You get to choose whom you engage with, and nobody has an automatic right to you.
I take short breaks from time to time.
On EP, I was once known for disengaging and coming back, but finally realized this didn't solve very much, and I missed the interaction here.

@Justmeraeagain I take long breaks for 6+ months. Then I burn out again. I can only ever seem to do this place in short bursts.

@BamPow I think that's why I don't like it as much. On EP, I was writing long essays, probing my feelings, finding other people like me. And then I come to SW, and it's all short-form content, questions, and political enemies tearing into one another.

I turn off the option for images to be displayed in the image when I upload pics for some albums. This way they can only blame themselves for what they have seen on my profile since the albums are clearly marked.
