Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone !

Happy St. Patrick's Day all !

In celebration of same, have fun watching one of my all time favorite, Irish-themed films:

"Luck of the Irish," 1948:

They just had it on the Movies! channel.
@SomeMichGuy Good !
@Thorstormbringer It's a great movie, and shows why

• Tyrone Power was so likable;
• Ann Baxter is likable when she isn't calling out, "Moses! Moses!" all the time;
• Cecil Kellaway can play a very interesting character;
• Steve Allen's future wife could play a very cold, calculating woman;
• Lee Cobb plays a bad guy really well...
@SomeMichGuy Good micro analysis of each actor.

BTW, have you ever seen Kellaway in, “I Married A Witch,” with Veronica Lake? He plays her warlock father…

:)
@Thorstormbringer Thanks; it's really a fun show.

RE: Kellaway
You know, I think I've seen bits of I Married a Witch...

The Wikipedia article about that film had some interesting info; the guy originally intended for the main role (Joel McCrea)--ultimately played by Fredric March of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde--was the father of a tall staple of the Annette Funicello teen beach movies (Jody McCrea).

Joel McCrea bowed out because he'd already worked with the female lead (Veronica Lake), and refused to do so again. [Ironically, this delayed production enough to allow Ms. Lake to be in ANOTHER movie before filming started for I Married a Witch...!]
