Had difficulty connecting with people? What does friendship mean to you?

Have I ever had difficulty connecting with people? No, not ever. I have been extremely extroverted all my life to a fault, which I've been told by some who think they know me better than I know myself.
Friendship to me is permanent, even if the other person gets pissed off and doesn't think the same way I do about our friendship. That is why I never shed old friends for new ones, nor did I ever banish boyfriends to the hinterlands when they did me wrong as a dating teenager.
Any guy I have ever dated, I am still friends with today and can pick up the phone and call them anytime. I have never dumped a boyfriend but I've always had many boyfriends whom I've dated synchronously, which most guys cannot handle. That is all about them, not about me!
The same applies to female friends I've made since grade school, some of whom are extremely jealous of me today for no apparent reason. Yet I remind them whenever I see them in my old home town that I am still their friend and they have no valid reason to be jealous of me today.
