Funny story...

So my partner of 15 years' friend is getting married, she's much younger and I see her once or twice a week. I get on with her ok and I always make time for her autistic son, he's non communicative but I always make an effort and he responds now either by laughing or hiding whatever mood he's in.
She's asked for cash as wedding present to go toward her honeymoon and I was debating 'how much do I like this girl?' Do I like her £20 or £50 bearing in mind that each of these equates to the number of hours I work to get this cash in my hand 2 or 5 hours. I said to my other half, 'when's the wedding?'
"October...but you're not invited and I haven't been given a plus one." Odd because both of her daughters who the bride sees once a year have been invited with their partners! Guess that's 20 quid saved.

You should drop her. Give her the silent treatment. And dont reply back to her. And dont see her anymore. Shes using you. Ive seen many reddit stories about this situation. Its literally disrespectful.

@ScarletWitch I trust my partner but I'm still tempted to go and stake out the reception carpark, just to be sure. I'm more interested in why I have been excluded by her friend who I get on ok with.
