I feel so absolutely helpless to help my friend

I am supporting her and being there for her as much as I can, which is difficult too because she's very in distress. I'm happy to do it but it's a lot sometimes, especially because I can't fix things for her

She is losing so much right now and it's awful 😔

She keeps talking about how insignificant she feels and that she is fantasizing about suicide

The other director laid off the other office person (me) and himself, and left her there by herself. While she's going through a nasty divorce

Now he's unhappy with her performance so he's firing her. She started this art school with him and she's so amazing, so passionate about it, has sacrificed so much for it...

I am so mad at him. So disappointed he's doing this to her

all you can probably really do is try to help her realise its not her fault :(
