As someone who has a house in a well performing school district I can say this is true. It’s not how much money is spent on education. It’s the people . It’s not how much money or man power is spent on fighting crime . It’s the people .its always the people .

I agree... for the most part:)
@SW-User I was only really after the last line. Our kids want to go biking with some city friends they haven't seen in a bit. Wife's response "we have some great trails out here, why should we go there" completely dismissive of who it is. She's never met them and they're all awesome together. Plus I need my wife to meet the other kid's Mom (single parent) just so it's not something I've avoided for however many years I'd manage to avoid it.
