Have you ever had to end a friendship..??

Yes, decades ago. I had a friend with an abusive boyfriend she wouldn’t leave. She would turn up on my doorstep at 3 am, running from him. I knew about a shelter and introduced her to the people who worked there. When he was banging on my door and tried to get into it with my husband (who shut that down), we called the police. When I heard she’d gone back to him and was upset with us for having the police take him away, I was through. 😒
