Yep. An online friendship. Took a huge toll on me emotionally, mentally and physically. No regrets - good riddance!

@solitaire I think those are the easiest to end since you don’t know them in person

@Hanginginthere They are not the easiest to end if you get emotionally attached. I WAS SO EMOTIONALLY attached and gave so much of my time to this person. It went beyond friendship and we were planning to meet. But I realised he was "future faking" and keeping me hooked. It took me 2 years to heal and it has indirectly rewired my way of thinking
