Why does my house seem a lot bigger and lot more quiet since my housemates left?

I do like having the house to myself. But it just feels a lot more lived in when my housemates are around.

how do you even do it after 25? after uni I was so fucking done with the idea of living in the same living space as someone else.....fuck that shit
