Is this site active much?

I created my account way back but was never active, I returned after many years - is the site fun and engaging?

there aren't as many posts as there once was. part of it is US politics and the way it alienates people. there are a lot of people that evidently are chatting so from that standpoint it is fun and active.

sometimes there will be a fun post that people will react to.
