Would you stay in touch with such a person?

Was supposed to meet a guy friend for drinks but he cancelled plans because a lady wanted to hook up with him. He's the one who suggested we could meet up for drinks so I messaged him a place we could meet and then he cancels.

If this happened to me then it would depend on the relationship i had with the friend... i have female friends... as in just friends nothing else... if they arranged and cancelled because they had an offer of a proper date at short notice then .. you know what... im happy for them... who knows it might be their one they are looking for... and i really wouldn't want to stop that from happening... but yes i can see its annoying and they wanted to... but we aren't always in control of our destiny
