@Sssslm absolutely, at the end of the day it is about your art and the other art on display. Maybe chat up another artist that has a piece there you like. It is not unusual at all to go to an art exhibit solo and just enjoy the art. Plus you get to see reactions to your piece. Enjoy!

@SomeMichGuy I am very excited to hear what people say about seeing my paintings. Sometimes people share the same feelings with me and I feel understood and connected. Sometimes people give me interesting new ideas and insights that I have never thought about. Art has been an important way of communication with others for me.
