What is a major bet you’ve lost?

A friend of mine and I were arguing on our WhatsApp group about a football player’s stats and I told him I’d pay him if he proved his point to me. He spent the next 45 minutes vigorously researching and gathering a stat to prove his point and sent it on our WhatsApp group to prove to everyone that he was indeed correct. I told him that I would credit him for his efforts, that he had done well. Ever obliging, I transferred approximately ₹5 (the equivalent of 6 cents) from my bank account to his, and in transaction remarks I typed in “Research Grant” and sent the payment confirmation on the group, to prove to everyone that I am indeed a man of my word 🤝 For some reason, everyone else was in splits
