Can Men and Women just be “friends”?

One of you lovely people here on SW brought up an interesting point..

Is it possible for men and women to just be friends? Or Is there always that chance that one of them might fall in love with the other?

I’m curious to hear some personal experiences or opinions 😅

Sure, I’d never consider any of my male friends as a potential partner or lover. They’re good people, but we’re incompatible when it comes to what’s needed for a relationship, which makes me not sexually or romantically attracted to them. I’m not shy. If I wanted to date them we would be. If he can’t respect that boundary then I end the friendship for both our sakes. A good friend doesn’t let someone torture themselves or you.
