Can Men and Women just be “friends”?

One of you lovely people here on SW brought up an interesting point..

Is it possible for men and women to just be friends? Or Is there always that chance that one of them might fall in love with the other?

I’m curious to hear some personal experiences or opinions 😅

It takes knowing the difference with being in love with someone and loving someone, and not allowing oneself to get one confused with the other.

Men have more difficulty with that than women so, or at least that's what my experience tells me. A woman can love a man and have no desire for physical intimacy, but guys... yeah, too often they can't separate the deep feelings of loving a woman (as a friend) and wanting her physically.

So yes, being just friends can happen, but there is always the chance (on both sides).
