Can Men and Women just be “friends”?

One of you lovely people here on SW brought up an interesting point..

Is it possible for men and women to just be friends? Or Is there always that chance that one of them might fall in love with the other?

I’m curious to hear some personal experiences or opinions 😅

Almost all of my friends are guys. Years ago though, my best friend was dating a guy and I always hung out with them. But she started screwing around on him and eventually dumped him, and then we started dating and got married 7 months later, about a week apart from my best friend marrying the guy she had dumped my husband for!
